New app to connect smartphone to PC has arrived

Intel has announced an amazing app called Unison that will seamlessly connect Intel-based PCs and Android and iOS smartphones together. This is the first time such an initiative has been seen, and with Intel at the heart of the initiative, its chances of success are high.

The four main functions of the connected phone can be used on the computer using the Unison app through a simple pairing process. The following benefits are available through the Unison app:

• Can make and receive calls

• Images and files can be shared

• Messages can be sent and received

• A notification will appear on the phone

Using the Unison App, all the mentioned functions can be used by connecting the Android phone and iPhone to the computer.

The Unison app can be used with Android and iPhone. As a result, no matter what type of smartphone the computer user uses, there will be no problem accessing the mentioned features from the computer.

You'll never miss any important calls, messages or notifications coming to your phone while you're connected to your computer thanks to the Unison app. When working on a computer, the mentioned important functions of the mobile phone can be used even without picking up the phone.

iPhone users may have a slightly different experience than Android phone users, but the core features will remain the same across platforms. Advanced features such as full multi-party messaging are not available to iOS users. This is because iOS and Android handle notifications from third-party apps differently.

Phone calls, file sharing, messages and notifications are currently available through Unison. This Unison application will make various tasks easier for most users. For example, a photographer can easily take pictures from their phone on a computer. Again, important notifications can be received directly on the computer without checking the phone while working in the office.

Intel Unison will initially be open to a handful of users. Initially, Unison can be used on certain Intel Evo notebooks from Acer, HP and Lenovo with 12 Gen processors. Intel said this feature will be seen in many 13-gen designer laptops next year.

Several manufacturers have created an ecosystem to share features between computers and mobiles, such as Samsung. On certain Samsung phones, it is possible to use the PC via mobile, not to mention the Samsung Dex feature.

However, the creation of such a product by Intel is completely new. Intel is in a tough position in the chip market with Apple and AMD. The advantage for MacBook or iPhone users is that their devices can be connected to each other and exchange data. Features like receiving messages or calls on the iPhone through the MacBook have taken the Apple ecosystem to another level.

Intel Unison may share some of the customer interest in this extraordinary feature of Apple devices. Since Unison will work with both Android and iOS phones, it will be a pretty versatile solution. Over time, more computers using Intel chips will come with this feature, improving device connectivity.
